3. Water circuits and electronics must stay dry

Residual test water can leak into packaging or reach electrical components. Before dispatch, the factory should drain the machine, dry internal lines where practical, secure hoses and cap open connections. Moisture-resistant wrapping, desiccants and a dry-container inspection are valuable safeguards, especially during humid conditions and long dwell times.

4. Refrigerant information can affect booking

Some models contain refrigerants that require additional carrier review, supporting documents or a different booking process. The exact refrigerant type and charge per unit should be confirmed before the cargo is collected. When applicable, the supplier may need to provide an SDS, product specification, declaration or other documents requested by the carrier. Never describe the unit simply as general cargo before the refrigeration details are checked.

5. Accessories are easy to separate or miscount

Filters, valves, scoops, drain pipes, adapters, manuals and spare kits may be packed in small cartons. If suppliers use inconsistent item names or carton labels, shortages are difficult to trace at destination. A consolidated packing list and carton-level marks make receiving and installation much smoother.

For an accurate freight plan, the following details should be collected for every model and supplier:

· Commodity description, brand, model number and intended commercial use.

· Quantity, package count, gross weight and packed dimensions for each item.

· Factory pickup address and cargo-ready date.

· Refrigerant type and charge per machine, including non-refrigerated confirmation when relevant.

· Electrical specifications, battery content if any, and supporting technical documents.

· Packing method: carton, pallet, plywood case or wooden crate, plus actual packing photos.

· Indonesian consignee details, destination port and required delivery timing.

FCL for larger or high-value projects

A full container gives the shipper more control over loading sequence, separation and bracing. It is often suitable when multiple large machines, storage bins and accessory pallets can fill most of a 20-foot or 40-foot container. Container selection should be based on packed dimensions, total weight, center of gravity and practical loading clearance, not only estimated cubic meters.

LCL for smaller orders

LCL can be economical for samples, spare parts or a small number of machines. However, the cargo will share space and pass through consolidation facilities, increasing the number of handling events. Strong palletization or crating, clear upright marks and moisture protection become especially important.
